Spring Break

We are limping into the finish line this quarter. Spring break is here finally, and boy do I need a break. I don’t know why this quarter has been so difficult but I am really fatigued. Well I have some idea, actually. After resisting getting sick the first half of the school year I finally succumbed to the ick this quarter and got really sick. I had strep throat and an upper respiratory infection that I am still getting over. I can’t seem to shake the cough.

 

After a month of practicing her song, I’m happy to report that M. got accepeted to preform in the talent show. She is singing “Believer” by Imagine Dragons and I’m excited to hear her on her big night, the 23rd of March.

She’s been practicing every day and I think she’s going to rock it this year. Last year she performed “Look Away” from A Series of Unfortunate Events and it was a really difficult song for her to perform but she was set on it. Even though it was really difficult she did an awesome job but I’m glad this year she picked a more mainstream song to perform as I didn’t think many people understood what she was singing last year.
