My favorite Oscar Wilde Quote is:

“Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.”

But Oscar Wilde was witty and there are a lot of quotes of his that I particularly like. A few more are:

“There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.”

“Books are well written, or badly written. That is all.”

Don’t you just love Oscar Wilde? I have always loved both his down to earth thoughts, connected with it more readily than other writers from previous times, and been fascinated by his life and the controversies therein. I love when people are determined to be themselves even with it’s not the norm. And in his time, it was actively dangerous to be as himself as he was. May we all walk in his footsteps.
