BPALs I *Need*

BPAL Wishlist

I have been compiling a BPAL wishlist for a while and thought I’d put it on my blog because I haven’t been posting much lately. I want to get the imps of these, and hopefully they are not discontinued or not available in imp size.

One of my very favorite BPAL scents is Silk Road, and I’m crushed to find it’s discontinued. Anyone who has some of this for trade or sale should please contact me. My other huge favorite is Nocnitsa, another discontinued. Why you do that BPAL? >.>

So onto the wishlist.

“A decadent, deep perfume, lusty and luxuriant. The scent evokes images of velvet-lined Old West cathouses, tightly laced corsets, rustling petticoats and coquettish snarls of pleasure. Bawdy plum with amaretto, burgundy wine and black currant.”

The reviews sound like it’s something I’d like. It’s one of the Ars Amatoria collection.

Countess Willie

“Sophisticated, dramatic, well-traveled, glamorous, and worldly, Countess Willie V. Piazza, owner of the French Studio, was a trendsetter in style and fashion. Countess Willie was an educated woman, a patron of the arts, and possessed an impressive library of rare volumes. She featured many historic jazz musicians in her House, including Tony Jackson and Jelly Roll Morton. Unlike many of her counterparts, she was known for having a kind heart and a generous, loving nature. She was fiercely protective: when a patron of her establishment, the nephew of a prominent New Orleans cleric, committed a heinous act of sadism against one of her ladies, Countess Willie shot him dead.

Chocolate plum musk, red musk, amaretto, candied fruits, and red ginger.”

This one has reviews similar to Bordello so I would likely get one or the other. It’s one of The District scents, and I’m not sure it’s available in imp.

The perfect scent to wear to your next bondage ball, dungeon adventure or sojourn to your favorite pleasure dome. Smoky rum and black tobacco with a whisper of steamy leather with a splash of crystalline chardonnay, layered over a sensual, sweet, and deceptively magnetic base of tonka.”

Well I’m starting to sound like a right strumpet based on my scent persuasions, aren’t I? There’s not a thing to that, let me tell you. The reviews of this one sound so sexy. It’s another Ars Amatoria scent.

A festive, dazzling blend, layered in mystery and intrigue. Patchouli, ambergris, carnation and orange blossom.”

This is a Bewitching Brew scent. I tend to be wary of patchouli because I don’t want to smell like a dirty hippie but the orange blossom intrigues me.  The reviews are a bit mixed, but I’d be willing to try an imp.

The Native American Creator / Trickster God of Chaos and Change. The warmth of doeskin, dry plains grasses and soft, dusty woods warmed by amber and a downy, gentle coat of deep musk.

This sounds so heavenly from the reviews. It is an Excolo scent.

Hic habitat felicitas! The penis was a potent and popular symbol of good fortune, strength, power, and fertility in ancient Rome. Images of phalluses adorned Roman homes and shops, bringing the positive energy that the symbol represents into the lives of the inhabitants.

Golden amber, golden musk, litsea cubeba, cedar, and saffron.”

Another discontinued. Sounds so lovely. It’s described as smelling of incense and resin.  I would love an imp.

In conclusion, I am not nearly done going through the reviews on BPAL Madness. I know there are million I would like to sample. When I next get some money, I am making an order for the imps I can purchase! I only have four imps and they are all sort of treasured so trading isn’t so much an option til I get some more to try out and decide they don’t work well on my skin.

I had Inferno which made me react in bright blotchy red burning and the Jersey Devil. Both of these I gave to my sweetie so I could smell them on him. They are lovely scents just didn’t work so well for me.
